Gnomes of the Immortal Realm
Hey guys, it feels like forever since my last blog post! I’m still getting used to my new blogging schedule. So this week, I’m excited to share with you some information about the gnomes of the Immortal Realm!

Gardening
The first thing you think of when it comes to gnomes is gardening so let’s talk about that first! You may remember from my first blog post about the Immortal Realm, I mentioned how gnomes tend to the gardens. What this means is that humans never have to cut the grass, trim the plants, pull the weeds or water the flowers. The gnomes do all this work on their own.
Statues
So, another question is do they only show themselves when alone and otherwise turn into statues? Well, I’m glad you asked!
They have the ability to turn into statues and do when they fall asleep but in the Immortal Realm everyone is used to them so they don’t have to hide. At the same time, this doesn’t mean you’ll see gnomes walking all over the yard doing work. They prefer to stay to themselves and don’t interact with the humans much. Although, you would be smart to make friends with them, they might overhear an interesting conversation that they can tell you about!
Living
So one thing that is different about the gnomes in the Immortal Realm is that they have little houses that they stay in. They’re usually hidden in a bush or in a tree. Most gnomes are on a nocturnal schedule, meaning that they sleep in the day and tend to the gardens at night.
Their Powers
I always enjoy revealing the unique powers of the creatures of the Immortal Realm! Gnomes of the Immortal Realm can turn someone into a gnome for a length of two hours, but only once in their lifetime.
Take a minute to digest that while I explain more what I mean exactly. So remember I said that gnomes don’t like humans much? Well, in the rare case that they do they can show them a couple hours of what their world looks like! But it only works once.
So imagine that you are a witch from the Immortal Realm, it doesn’t matter which kind, you choose. You are in trouble and need to hide. Luckily for you, you are friends with the gnomes at the castle. You tell them your problem and they turn you into one of them. After two hours of hiding out in their home, you come back out to the yard and turn back into a full sized witch again. You can’t ask them to do it again if you need more time because you’ve already turned into a gnome once in your lifetime.
Pretty cool, right!
So that was one power. Another is that they can hear truths and lies. Many times, gnomes overhear conversations because people tend to forget there are ears listening to them. So if someone is lying to another person the gnomes can tell. This is why I said it would be smart to have a gnome as a friend. They’d make the perfect spy!
So that’s it I guess, I hope you enjoyed reading this as much as I enjoyed writing it! Let me know in the comments what you thought of the gnomes of the Immortal Realm.
